From San Jose: It is a pleasant trip from 3 to 4 hours through the scenic
mountains. In San José you take the Pan-American South toward Cartago and
San Isidro. In San Isidro you stray toward Dominical. Once in Dominical,
travel south on the Pan-American Coastal Highway about 3 km and look for a soccer field on the left. Turn left at the field, and make your first right after the field.  We are about 3 km up the
Escaleras Road.  4x4 is recommended.

From Quepos: It is a scenic trip down the Coastal Highway South to
Dominical. Once in Dominical, continue south on the Pan-American Coastal
Highway about 3 km and look for a soccer field on the left.  Turn left, then make first right after soccer field.
We are about 3 km up the Escaleras Road.  4x4 is recommended.

By bus
Travel from San José to San Isidro de El General with the Musoc Bus Company,
approx. 3 hours and $US 3.50

From there you can take the bus from San Isidro to Dominical. Look for the
bus station where the buses go to Dominical, Quepos y Punta Uvita, approx. 1
hour and $US 1.80. Once in Dominical, you will need to get a 4x4 taxi up to Bella Vista ($15 approx.).
