Our place here is very special and I would like to tell you about it and why many of our guests return year after year.
Bella Vista means "beautiful view", and that is what we have here at the Bella Vista Lodge and Ranch. We are perched on a mountainside knoll at 1200 ft elevation in the "escaleras" (stairs)
Bella Vista has an unparalled view of the Pacific Ocean, with Quepos, Manuel Antonio to the north, and the Osa Peninsula to the South. In addition, a magnificent view of the mountains separates Bella Vista from all the others.
Soaring birds are prevalent gliding on the air currents between the mountains, valleys, and the coast. The Lodge with its broad wrap around balcony and porch has hammocks to laze in, while you gaze at the ocean, mountains, birds, and butterflies. While gazing you listen to the sounds of nature, including Howler monkeys, Parrots, and Toucans, from the rain forest above and below.
