We offer a unique and authentic Costa Rica experience. The Lodge is an 80 year old mahogany farmhouse with an expansive wrap-around deck. Very simple—sitting in a clearing in the jungle. Early risers have no need for an alarm clock. Howler Monkeys and Toucans do the job.
There are four rooms in the Lodge, each with private bath and hot shower. The Lodge also houses the restaurant and bar. Guests tend to become friends quickly up here and most choose not to go into town too often. Things can become a bit festive. For the socially oriented, the Lodge is a blast. For those who require more privacy and quiet we have 2 cabins nestled on the mountainside just below the Lodge. They both have small kitchens and decks with hammock. The whole property is very rustic with no windows. Only screens and shutters. The ocean breeze makes it very comfortable year-round.

The restaurant can be open for breakfast and dinner with advance notice. We like to buy fresh, taking advantage of local produce, seafood, chicken, and meats. Breakfast is served at 8:00 with coffee set-up for the earlier risers. We do need to know the day before if you would like breakfast. For dinner—we get an idea of everyone's preferences before you leave for the day's activities or by 2:00 PM and offer one or two entrees, depending upon number of guests. We do happily accommodate vegetarians and those with food allergies.
We have two very friendly dogs on the property. They may bark at strangers but they do not bite.
